RC Dhaka Mahanagar: A versatile member club

Rotary club of Dhaka MahaNagar received its charter on 22^nd October 2012 with a membership figure of 40. It was a versatile figure and members came from a diverse background. The club fellowship consisted of businessmen, doctors, lawyers, media personalities, financial analysts, journalists, management specialists, bankers, writers etc. To the district it may still be a young club but it is a club with a lot of substance and positive attitude.

Over the years the club has grown with bringing in new, young and experienced members, though few has stepped aside from our path to the future. But MahaNagarian’s have continued to conquer. The club has received presidential citation every year, since its charter. Our members have held various important positions in the district and the club is often referred to, as a model club in different aspects.

MahaNagar have several very interesting ongoing service projects through which we tend to be a gift to the world through serving humanity. We are continuously searching for new areas to serve our community. We believe in the true essence of rotary and thus strive to work and serve the community from its core.

The members are energetic, dedicated and enthusiastic enough to invest their valuable time and asset to serve the less fortunate around us. The vibrant members bring to the table not only their expertise and support, but also creates a unique bond of friendship among each other through continuous fellowship.

Each and every member of MahaNagar, whether new or old, is a part of each other’s extended family. In some instance, a little more than that;
